The Cold Lottery is a live, community-driven script reading event designed to connect writers and actors in an organic and accessible way. Writers submit original material—short plays, screenplays, or excerpts—and actors who attend enter a live “lottery” upon arrival. Roles are assigned on the spot, giving all participants equal opportunity to be cast and perform in a cold reading. Anyone is welcome to attend whether you are an artist or someone interested in becoming more involved.
